North West Counties Division One South high-flyers Stafford Town were checked by struggling and winless Haughmond, who fought back to claim a point with a 2-2 draw.

Hosts Stafford trailed early on but Matthew Hearsey and Patryk Mazurkiewicz scored in 12 minutes to take the lead after the hour.

The Shropshire visitors were not done and claimed a surprise with an equaliser 18 minutes from time.

Eccleshall relinquished a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 leaders Runcorn Town.

Wolverhampton Casuals were beaten 2-1 at home by Stockport Georgians and struggling Wolverhampton Sporting are bottom following a 4-1 reverse at Barnton.

Bewdley Town beat Wantage Town 4-1 at home in Hellenic Division One. Elliott Lees scored twice.
