Hednesford will be without striker Reece Styche for six weeks after the youngster broke his foot.

Teenager Styche, who scored four goals in Monday's 5-3 Birmingham Senior Cup win over Boldmere St Michaels, fell awkwardly in Wednesday's 1-0 FA Cup replay success at Stratford.

Manager Phil Starbuck, who takes his side to winless basement side North Ferriby United tomorrow, said: "It's a blow for him and us - anyone who can score four goals in a game will be in contention.

"He's got his foot in plaster and will be out for four to six weeks but then he's got to get his strength and muscles built up again."

The Pitmen also wait on luckless defender Gary Sucharewcyz, who pulled up again on Wednesday, this time with a problem at the back of his thigh.

"I'm calling him 'Sicknote' - he's had an unbelievable catalogue of injuries, one after the other - he's had that many I've lost count," said the boss.

Meanwhile after two cup wins in three days, Starbuck has targeted another victory to stop the rot after four league defeats in a row.

"If we can carry on in the same vein as our FA Cup performance, then we'll be fine," he said.
