Hourly services running between Rugeley and Walsall following 'signal fault'
Rail replacement bus services and hourly operations are in place between Rugeley and Walsall following a 'signal fault' this morning (November 17).
West Midlands Railway have warned that trains are facing 'delays and alterations' due to the ongoing issue.
In a post on X at around 8am, a spokesperson for West Midlands Railway wrote: "Signal fault between Walsall & Rugeley Trent Valley.
"Due to this services through these stations face delays and alterations. Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on Rail Replacement."
The latest update, posted to X at around 11am, stated trains will be operating on an hourly service but rail replacement buses are still in place.
