It will be the third Saturday running that railway staff have staged strikes.

More are planned for Saturdays on December 7, 14, 21 and 28.

The industrial action will affect passengers using West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway services.

It comes as West Midlands Railway has already experienced disruption with staffing shortages and timetable problems.

Among the lines that will be affected are Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury, Kidderminster and Hereford, Walsall and Rugeley Trent Valley, Crewe and Stafford via Stoke-on-Trent and Rugby and Crewe via Nuneaton and Rugeley Trent Valley.

Passengers with holding tickets for this Saturday can instead use them on Friday, Sunday and Monday.
