The airport enjoyed a record breaking month for passenger numbers in May.

Birmingham Airport has revealed its top 10 destinations passengers flew to in May as it enjoyed a record month.

The high footfall coincided with a variety of exciting developments at the airport throughout May, including the launch of a new route to Nice with easyJet and a new route to Jersey with Jet2.

Passengers travelling from further afield now also have even more options thanks to the arrival of FlixBus, which provides convenient new coach links from Oxford and Central London direct to Birmingham Airport.

A brand-new, 24-hour McDonald’s also opened its doors on 20 May.
