Shropshire pharmacy group takes home leading industry award

MSN Pharmacy Group won the accolade at the national Pharmacy Business Awards.

A Shropshire business set up in 2012 has been named Pharmacy Group of the Year at a national award scheme.

MSN Pharmacy Group, which has most of its branches in towns and villages across Shropshire, won the accolade at the national Pharmacy Business Awards 2026 earlier this month.

The ceremony was held at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London, where husband and wife Ravi and Anj Nagra, who founded the group in 2012 and are now its Co-CEOs, collected the award.

The pair have seen the business grown to 18 pharmacies serving communities across Shropshire, the Black Country and Birmingham, with its head office in Tipton.

The award recognises the dedication of the group’s teams and their continued commitment to patients and community pharmacy services.

Ravi Nagra, Co-CEO of MSN Pharmacy Group, said: “We are incredibly proud to be named Pharmacy Group of the Year, particularly because so much of our journey is rooted in Shropshire. Most of our branches serve towns and villages across the county, and we feel privileged to be part of those communities. For many people, their local pharmacy is a trusted part of everyday life, and that is something we never take for granted.

“This award really belongs to our teams. Our pharmacists, technicians, dispensers, counter staff, drivers, managers and everyone at head office make MSN Pharmacy Group what it is. They show up every day for our patients, support each other when things are difficult, and keep delivering for the communities they serve.

“When Anj and I started in 2012, there were long days, difficult decisions and plenty of challenges, but we always believed in what community pharmacy could do for patients. None of this would have been possible without our parents, who have believed in us from the very beginning and been behind us every step of the way.

“Seeing Anj and Helen on stage accepting the award was a very special moment. Helen has been a huge part of our journey, and she and Anj have put in endless hours alongside our teams.

“We are extremely grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey, past and present, and to our patients, partners and suppliers. We are proud of how far we have come and even more excited about where we are going.”

The group thanked Pharmacy Business for the recognition and congratulated everyone nominated, shortlisted and recognised at the 2026 awards.
