Wolverhampton pub appeals for return of stolen item as CCTV images released
The pub is continuing to appeal for the missing item to be returned
A Wolverhampton pub has appealed for the return of a custom-made item allegedly stolen from its bar, releasing CCTV images in a bid to identify the person responsible.
PACK in Wolverhampton took to social media after a decorative number 22 was reportedly taken from the premises at around 10.44pm on Friday, October 23.
The pub claims a woman wearing a yellow hoodie was responsible for taking the item, which was specially made for the venue and cannot be purchased elsewhere.
In a post on Facebook, a PACK spokesperson said: "Imagine trying to steal from a pub with so much CCTV. Well some do.
"Will the lady (yellow hoodie) who decided to pop in Friday and at 22:44 steal our Number 22 from the bar please bring it back.
"These were all custom made for us, so you can't buy them anywhere else.
"I will release more footage and photos later, if we have no response from you."
The venue urged customers and members of the public to share the appeal in the hope of securing the item's return.
It added: "Please like, share, so we can make people like these realise you have to pay for items not just steal what you want."
However, after the initial appeal failed to secure the return of the item, the pub published further CCTV images on its Facebook page.
In a follow-up post on Monday, October 26, it said: "Following on from yesterday still no return of the '22'.
"So here are some more photos.
"Feel free to share please so we can catch the phantom '22' thief! (Lady in yellow hoodie)."
