Shoppers were clamped after leaving vehicles in a service road near the Black Country's new Currys store after failing to get on the packed car park.
Roads around the new Wednesbury store were clogged by thousands of bargain hunters.
About 20 drivers who parked in a service road leading to the new Wednesbury store had to pay £80 to remove the clamps yesterday evening.
They say wheelclampers purposely targeted the service street leading to the Axltree Way complex because they knew people would have to leave vehicles on surrounding roads.
Andy Kempson, aged 35, of Walsall said he was "outraged" by the fine. "It is disgusting," he said. "I came out of the store and found that my wheel had been clamped. I had an 18 month old baby in the car with me but I had no food with me. I am stunned.'
Trevor Whitehouse, chairman of National Clamps, said: "The claims that we have put signs up in the last 24 hours are ludicrous.
"We have been operating on this site to my knowledge for over a year. Unfortunately people have chosen to flout the rules, they have parked in an access road which we have to keep open for emergency vehicles."
