Visitors will be able to get a first glimpse of the new Travelodge Hotel when it opens in Waterloo Road on Wednesday.
Bosses of the 99-bedroom hotel will then hold an official opening ceremony on November 26, a month earlier than originally expected. The project follows Travelodge's pledge to add a further 3,000 rooms in 30 hotels in the Midlands by 2020.
Workers have spent months at the site to create the new hotel, which will add an extra 99 family and double rooms to the area priced from £19 a night.
The former Bankfield House, a 1960s building previously used as offices and teaching facilities by the University of Wolverhampton, has been transformed as part of the project.
