Popular Black Country McDonald’s reopens after revamp with fresh new look - take a peek inside
The revamped restaurant includes a front counter redesign, dedicated courier waiting area and improved break spaces.
A popular McDonald’s in the Black Country had reopened after a refurb.
The restaurant in Halesowen Street, Oldbury, which is owned and operated by local franchisee Jon Swaby, has had a fresh new look.

It has included a front counter redesign which will create specific areas for different sales channels, meaning more space for customers to enjoy their meal, less congestion around touchscreens, and shorter queues.
There is a dedicated courier waiting area and entrance, a new kitchen design which includes a bigger order assembly area and dedicated areas to prepare dine in orders, and improved break spaces and redesigned crew rooms.

Mr Swaby, who owns and operates six McDonald’s across the West Midlands, said: “I’m proud to reinvest in our restaurant on Oldbury’s Halesowen Street, which employs over 100 people locally.

“It’s fantastic to see the fresh new look and feel in-person.
“We can’t wait to welcome back our customers with a better experience for everyone, and I’m confident the changes will benefit our customers and fantastic restaurant team alike.”
While the traditional walk-in remains core to how customers order, the redesign of McDonald’s kitchen and dining areas aims to better integrate digital sales channels alongside the McDonald’s App, and make smarter use of internal space to enhance the dine in experience.
With dedicated areas for the different ways to order, along with a redesign of the front counter, the revamp aims to offer a more efficient way to order and will leave customers with more space to enjoy their meal.
