£1m former Wolverhampton Land Rover site to be 'demolished in November' - here's why
A former car showroom is set to be demolished after planning chiefs agreed to the work being carried out.
The Manchester-based Northhold Group has been told it can demolish the former Land Rover dealer site in Stafford Street, Wolverhampton, after the scheme was agreed by the city council's planning team.
The developer said the work was due to take place in November.

The developer noted that the site was surrounded by a number of flats, and said mitigation steps would be put in place to minimise dust and traffic disruption while the work was being carried out.
The showroom, on the corner of Bone Mill Lane, has been empty since 2012, when it closed with the loss of 45 jobs. A new £14 million dealer later opened off Penn Road.
The 7,100 sq ft garage, with a further 0.6 acres of land, is understood to be under offer having recently been advertised for £1 million.
The council identified the site as being suitable for mixed retail and commercial development.
