Popular Boxing Day charity open water dip ready to welcome hardy souls to Chasewater
An annual event which welcomes hardy souls and people looking to shake off the Christmas day cobwebs is set to return for another fundraising bit of fun.


Brownhills lies on the ancient Watling Street, which has its origins to Saxon and Roman times. Yet its name had roots in the area’s mining past. A one time there were up to 10 mines working around the town before the industry’s decline by the 1950s. The town has been the focus of regeneration in recent years.
