Five crews of firefighters from West Midlands Fire Service are currently at the scene of a house fire in a Wolverhampton market town.
The public have been asked to avoid the area around Mason Street, Bilston as they work to tackle the blaze.

A spokesperson from West Midlands Fire Service said: “Shortly before 4.40pm on Sunday 29 March, we responded to Mason Street, Coseley, Bilston.
“Five fire engines, a 4x4 brigade response vehicle and a hydraulic aerial platform attended, crewed by firefighters from Dudley, Bilston, Tipton, Oldbury, Wednesbury and Willenhall stations. The first crew reached the scene within five minutes of being mobilised.

“This was a fire in a void property, that was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus. Everyone was accounted for and there were no injuries or casualties. West Midlands Police were in attendance and erected a cordon around the building for us to work.
“Two lanes on Mason street were closed whilst we worked at the scene. The road fully re-opened later that evening. We revisited the site twice on Monday morning, confirming no hotspots remained.”
