Sandwell councillors charged and set for court next month
Two Sandwell councillors have been charged after an incident earlier this year in which a person was allegedly assaulted.
Claire Millard, aged 40 has been charged with two counts of assault and two of affray and Daniel Millard, aged 43 has been charged with assault, affray and aiding an affray.

Both charges relate to an incident which allegedly took place in the early hours of Sunday July 20 on Surfeit Hill Road, Cradley Heath
The two councillors are both from the Cradley Heath area and formerly represented Labour in the Rowley and Blackheath wards - both are now independent.
They are due to appear at Dudley Magistrates Court next month.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We can confirm Claire Mayo, aged 40 from Cradley Heath has been charged with two counts of assault, and two counts of affray.
"Daniel Millard, aged 43 from Cradley Heath has been charged with assault, affray and aiding an affray. They are due to appear at Dudley Magistrates Court next month. "
