Birmingham Airport has warned passengers to leave extra time for their journeys following a gas leak near the airport.
A busy road near Birmingham Airport has closed due to a gas leak.
The A45 Coventry Road, Birmingham, has closed in both directions due to a 'burst gas pipe' between Damson Parkway and Hatchford Brook.

Emergency services are on the scene to help secure the area, with West Midlands Fire Service also in attendance.
Neighbouring residents are urged to keep their windows and doors closed.
On X, West Midlands Roads said: "A45 Coventry Road, near Birmingham Airport, Elmdon.
"Road closed in both directions due to a burst gas pipe between Damson Parkway and Hatchford Brook, with emergency services on scene."
Birmingham Airport also warned passengers to be aware of the road closure when travelling to the airport, warning those with flight bookings to 'allow additional time' for their journeys.
On X, Birmingham Airport said: "Please be aware of the following road closure and alow additional time for your journey to BHX."
