Man accused of 14 break-ins across the Black Country and Staffordshire in three months
West Midlands Police has charged a man with more than 15 break-ins at homes across the Black Country and South Staffordshire.
David Foster, 47 and of no fixed address, was arrested in Willenhall on Monday afternoon (June 23) after reports of break-ins at homes in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell and South Staffordshire over the last three months.
West Midlands Police has announced that he has now been charged with a total of 21 offences, including 14 burglaries and one attempted burglary in Willenhall, Wolverhampton, Pelsall, Darlaston, Tipton and Enville.
Foster was also further charged with possessing a bladed article, possessing an imitation firearm, going equipped for stealing, driving with no licence and no insurance and assaulting an officer with the intention of resisting arrest.
The charges come following break-ins at homes between April 26 and June 23 with the stolen items including jewellery and electrical items.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Foster has been held in police custody and is due before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today."
