Police investigate two incidents in Walsall including stabbing and disorder which saw 'weapons brandished'
Police are investigating two incidents in Walsall after a teenager was stabbed and a man was discovered with a head injury.
A 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the arm near Park Street in the town centre at around 4.14pm on Monday (June 23).
Then, just before 6.30pm, officers were alerted to disorder where "weapons were brandished" in Park Street, West Midlands Police said.
A man, aged in his 20s, was found with a head injuries. Both injuries are not said to be life-threatening.
In a statement on Tuesday, a West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Our enquiries are ongoing but at this stage we don't believe the incidents are connected.
"Anyone with information about either incident can contact us via 101."
The force put Section 60 powers in place in and around Walsall town centre following the incidents.

The powers, which were in place until just before 7am on Tuesday (June 24), allow officers to stop and search people without the need to have reasonable grounds.
