Porsche goes to ‘Infinity and Beyond’ with special-edition Toy Story models

Limited one-of-one cars have been launched to celebrate the release of latest instalment in famous franchise.
Porsche is reaching for the sky as it celebrates the latest instalment of the famous Toy Story franchise with a trio of special-edition cars.
Revealed on the day of Toy Story 5’s premiere, the one-of-one 911 models each draw inspiration from characters starring in the film.

Set to be sold as part of a charitable initiative to help the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross and Starlight Children’s Foundation, the Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie cars have all received extensive modifications.
The 911 Carrera T inspired by Woody, has a custom colour designed to mimic the natural wear of Woody’s classic blue jeans. Porsche says that a denim texture can be seen through the paint, in fact, while Woody’s name is emblazoned on the lower door area. Inside, there’s a brown vintage leather while the seat centres are finished in denim. Even the centres of the alloy wheels resemble Woody’s sheriff badge.

The 911 Targa 4 GTS inspired by Jessie, meanwhile, has been customised by Porsche’s Sonderwunsch department. It gets a bespoke paint – Jessie White Metallic – with a pearl overlay, while contrasting cobalt blue and Atacama Yellow shades are used elsewhere. The wing mirror shells get a GTS red while and the folding Targa top is also red to mimic Jessie’s hat, Even the famous ‘targa’ badge at the rear has been replaced with a bespoke ‘Jessie’ version.
Finally, there’s the 911 GT3 RS inspired by Buzz Lightyear. Based on Porsche’s high-performance track car, this model gets the brand’s optional Weissach Package which brings all of the most performance-focused extras possible. There’s a huge rear wing – finished to match Buzz’s own – while elsewhere you’ll find Green Yellow and Lizard Green accents. The wheels, finished with the Space Ranger logo, are shod in Goodyear tyres reimagined with ‘Lightyear’ branding. Inside, there are carbon matte sill guards complete with Buzz’s ‘To Infinity and Beyond’ line.
All three cars are making their world debut on the red carpet today (June 9) at the premiere of Toy Story 5 in Los Angeles.
