Midlands Air Ambulance reveals programme of festive activities
The charity is hosting wreath-making workshops, a remembrance service and a Santa experience this December to help raise funds for its emergency work
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is inviting people to join its programme of Christmas events at its Cosford airbase and headquarters in Shifnal.

The activities include wreath-making workshops, a festive experience for children, an annual remembrance service and a Christmas raffle, with money raised helping to fund the charity's lifesaving work across the region.
The Christmas wreath-making workshops will take place on Friday, December 4, at 6.30pm and Saturday, December 5, at 10am. Tickets cost £30 per person and participants will be able to make their own wreath to take home.
The charity's annual Celebration of Life event will follow on Sunday, December 6. The remembrance service will include music, readings and reflection, with people invited to place a personalised bauble on a Christmas tree in memory of a loved one.
Father Christmas will visit the Cosford base on Saturday, December 12, and Sunday, December 13, for the charity's Santa Experience.
Each 90-minute session costs £15 per child and includes a meeting with Santa, festive games and activities, refreshments, the chance to meet air ambulance crew members and a gift to take home.
The charity is also running its 2026 Christmas raffle, with tickets costing £1 and 17 cash prizes available, including a top prize of £3,000.
Christmas cards, diaries, calendars, clothing and gifts are also available through the charity's online shop, with proceeds helping to support its work.
Emma Wood, associate director of income generation at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: "While many of us will be enjoying time with loved ones this Christmas, our crews will remain ready to respond whenever they're needed.
"By supporting our festive programme, people are helping us continue providing advanced pre-hospital emergency care to patients across the Midlands."
The charity receives no government funding for its daily operations and relies on donations to keep its helicopters and critical care cars responding to emergencies.
The events will take place at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, Airbase Avenue, Neachley, Shifnal, TF11 8UR. Places for the wreath-making workshops and Santa Experience must be booked in advance.
