Beginning on December 8, Santa travelled through the districts of Rugeley over a two‑week period, with families turning out in great numbers to greet him and share in the Christmas cheer.

The Santa Sleigh remains a cherished joint project between the Rugeley & District Lions Club and the Rugeley Rotary Club. Its continued success is made possible thanks to the dedication, generosity and teamwork of many supporters.

"A special tribute goes to Lion Peter Fielding, who has managed the Santa Sleigh for an extraordinary 18 years on behalf of both clubs. We also extend our gratitude to Ron Ashley for two weeks of committed driving, and to our Santa's — Gerry and Carl — whose warmth and good humour brought joy to countless households.
