Magical Victorian Christmas market held in Kidderminster
Foley Grange Care Home in Kidderminster was filled with festive cheer this December as it hosted a magical Victorian Christmas Market on Saturday, December 13.
Residents, their families and members of the local community stepped back in time to enjoy a traditional Victorian-style celebration, bringing together people of all ages for a heartwarming afternoon. Guests enjoyed an afternoon full of delicious festive refreshments, local stalls and a variety of home-made goodies, all prepared and hosted by the dedicated Foley Grange team.

A highlight of the afternoon was a visit from Santa Claus and his elves. Members of the community were able to visit Santa’s grotto, meet Santa himself and receive a special goody bag, much to the delight of younger visitors. The grotto proved hugely popular with families and helped everyone get into the festive spirit, creating lasting Christmas memories.

The market provided a joyful opportunity for residents to socialise with loved ones and neighbours, reinforcing Foley Grange’s strong links with the local community and celebrating the spirit of Christmas together in a truly memorable way.

Beth Phillips, Front of House Manager at HC-One’s Foley Grange Care Home, said: “It was wonderful to see our residents, their families and the local community come together to enjoy our Victorian Christmas Market. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the smiles on everyone’s faces made all the hard work worthwhile. We’re so proud of the team for creating such a special and memorable afternoon for everyone involved.”
