Activities for infants and toddlers include Baby Rhyme Time that uses nursery rhymes and songs to foster early language and listening skills, and Storytime where children gather together to enjoy enchanting tales that ignite imagination and curiosity.

For those aged five and over, there is Lego Club that gets the engineering juices flowing and Games Club where friendly competition and tabletop excitement thrive.

“All our half term activities are free, and each library has its own programme,” said Stephanie Rhoden, GLL Partnership Manager. “You don’t have to be a library member to take advantage of what’s on offer – everyone is welcome.

“Booking is highly recommended, though, as sessions fill up quickly and numbers are limited.”

Operating under the Better brand, GLL is the not-for-profit social enterprise that runs Dudley’s libraries on behalf of the council.

Councillor Damian Corfield, cabinet member for neighbourhoods, said: "Libraries are at the heart of our communities and it’s fantastic to see such a wide range of free activities on offer this half term. These sessions not only support children’s learning and development but also provide a welcoming space for families to spend time together."
