Wake Up Little Stafford – Everly Brothers tribute arrives at Gatehouse
The timeless harmonies of Don and Phil Everly will be celebrated in Stafford this autumn, as acclaimed tribute show A Date With The Everly Brothers comes to the Gatehouse Theatre on Sunday 28th September. Audiences can expect all the classic hits – from Bye Bye Love and Wake Up Little Susie to All I Have To Do Is Dream – performed with the spirit and style that made the Everlys one of music’s most enduring duos.
The show has been delighting audiences across the UK with its authentic sound and nostalgic atmosphere. Every detail is lovingly recreated – from the close-knit vocals and ringing acoustic guitars to the stage presence that helped make the Everly Brothers international stars.
As well as celebrating the timeless catalogue of hits, the performance also reflects on the brothers’ incredible story – their rise to stardom, their influence on legends such as Paul McCartney and Mark Knopfler, and their lasting legacy as pioneers of rock ’n’ roll and country-infused pop.

Craig Boyd, who sings Phil Everly’s parts in the show, said: “We’ve always loved the Everlys. Their harmonies are unique, and their music has inspired so many of the artists we all know today. Bringing those songs back to the stage is a joy for us – and we can’t wait to share that with the Stafford audience.”
A Date With The Everly Brothers has already played to packed houses across the country, including a performance at the illustrious Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh. Now, Stafford audiences have the chance to experience the magic for themselves.
Whether you grew up with their songs on the radio or are discovering them afresh, A Date With The Everly Brothers promises a night of toe-tapping, heartwarming nostalgia, celebrating one of the most beloved duos in music history.

A Date With The Everly Brothers comes to Stafford Gatehouse Theatre on Sunday, September 28. Tickets are available now from the theatre box office or at staffordgatehousetheatre.co.uk
