Bloxwich girl May may well be global pageant winner

A schoolgirl's dedication to fundraising work in the community has seen her head off to an international pageant competition.
May Parry, aged 10, from Bloxwich, has been chosen to represent England in the junior category of the Face of the Globe grand finals in London and Disneyland Paris.
The year six pupil at Lower Farm Primary entered the pageant after being dedicated to fundraising and helping people who are less fortunate than herself.
So far, through baking cakes to sell and organising charity events, she has raised more than £2,500 for a number of charities including The Rainbow Child Foundation and Acorns Children's Hospice.
May, who dances with L'Acadamie dance studio based in Sedgley several nights a week, travelled out to the finals on Saturday.
Her mother, Maria Parry, said her daughter was 'very excited' about the competition. She said: "May is very passionate about helping children less fortunate than herself and wants to be a role model to other children."
