Blind Date mismatch leaves viewers feeling awkward

The couple could not find anything in common.
Blind Date had viewers cringing at an extremely awkward report of a lacklustre liaison.
Alice Tate and Steph Powell were sent to get to know each other better at a yoga class after meeting in last week’s episode, but when the pair returned on Saturday night it was clear that love had not blossomed.

On the date, Alice struggled with her fear of heights as the class took place in London’s Shard and was followed by a turn on the London Eye.
Complaints also included Alice’s love of Celine Dion and an extreme height difference between them.
I think we get it…there's just no spark #blinddate

Back in the studio, Steph was honest with presenter Paul O’Grady about the lack of chemistry, but drew gasps from the audience when she dropped in that she had fancied the yoga teacher and had since met a new girlfriend.
She's met someone else? How rude!#BlindDate

Still, Alice kept her dignity by wishing the new couple well after the episode aired.
