Livingston stop the rot with rout of struggling Morton

The Lions claimed a first win in three games.
Livingston returned to winning ways in the Scottish Championship with a 4-1 victory over strugglers Morton at Cappielow Park.
Livingston eased to a 2-0 lead at the break when Liam Polworth fired into the bottom corner in the 35th minute and Robbie Muirhead’s deflected effort found the net on the cusp of half-time.
Michael O’Halloran pulled one back for the hosts nine minutes after the restart, but goals in the final 13 minutes from Emmanuel Danso and Jordan Doherty helped the Lions end a two-game losing run in the league and keep Morton bottom of the standings.
