Gomes touted as option for Newcastle
Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes has been touted as a potential target for Newcastle United - according to The Athletic.
Newcastle have sold Sandro Tonali to Tottenham Hotspur for £100million this summer - while Bruno Guimaraes is strongly linked with a move to Arsenal.
The report claims that Gomes ‘has been mentioned’ in planning meetings at St James’ Park.
Gomes played 116 times for Wolves in the Premier League and has scored seven league goals since arriving from Flamengo in 2023.
Wolves keen on Utrecht winger
Wolves are reportedly interested in signing FC Utrecht winger Adrian Blake this summer.
As per Sky Sports News, Burnley and Celtic are also set to compete for his signature.
The ex-Watford wide man made just three appearances during his spell at Vicarage Road in 2022-23.
Since, Blake has registered nine goals and five assists in 63 games for Utrecht - including four goals and two assists last term.
The 20-year-old also has just one-year left on his contract and is valued at around £2.5million.
