They are set to play two games in Dublin over the next six days as they build up to the big kick off on August 11.

They take on League of Ireland side Bray tommorrow before facing Stephen Ward's former club Bohemians on Sunday – and Henry reckons they will be a pair of tough opponents.

Both teams are currently in the thick of their league seasons and will provide stiff tests for a Wolves side that are less than two weeks into their pre-season programme.

"It'll be a good trip – I've never been to the Republic of Ireland so I'm looking forward to it. But it'll be a really tough trip – they are two difficult games," he said.

"It will be good for us. You can do all the running you want but there is nothing like playing games.

"A couple of the Irish lads have been saying they'll be fit and it's a good time to play them. It'll certainly be a test for us."

Henry made his comeback against Grays on Saturday after four months out with a bruised spleen. And he is now looking forward to playing a major role.

"The injury felt absolutely fine after Grays – there were no problems whatsoever. There is nothing like being back out there again and it was a good feeling. I've been back in full training for a couple of weeks now so I did feel ready for it," he said.

Lewis Gobern and Mark Davies were left behind to nurse injuries.

Physio Barry Holmes said: "It was better for Lewis to stay behind and have some intensive treatment to try and get him ready for the next match after the squad return (Doncaster).

"Mark has been experiencing some pain in his knee so he is staying to train at Compton and has been booked in for a scan. We will make an assessment then."

Full squad: Bothroyd, Henry, Mimms, Hennessey, Olofinjana, Lee Collins, Kightly, Keogh, Ward, Jarvis, Breen, Craddock, Gleeson, Ward, Jones, Little, Neill Collins, Mulgrew, Edwards, Potter, Murray, Eastwood.
