Arsenal's appeal against Myles Lewis-Skelly's controversial red card during their 1-0 win over Wolves at the weekend has been upheld by the FA.

The left-back was dismissed by referee Michael Oliver midway through the first half at Molineux following his challenge on Matt Doherty.

His team-mates were visibly stunned by the decision but Oliver's on-field call was confirmed by VAR Darren England, who adjudged the tackle to be 'serious foul play'.

But the FA have now reversed the decision and Lewis-Skelly's three-match ban has been rescinded.

He will now be available to face Manchester City on Sunday.
