The 26-year-old becomes the latest man to leave Molineux on-loan and is the twelfth to leave following Nuno Espirito Santo' arrival at the club.

The Irishman has not featured for Wolves' first-team this season having scored four times last season, most recently in the 1-0 win over Aston Villa in January.

"I’m really happy to be here and for it to be all signed up." He said, on his arrival at Burton.

"I think it will suit me really well, the way the team plays. I know the league really well. It’s relentless but I feel I can help the team and I’m really looking forward to it."

Nuno is keen to bolster his attacking ranks with another striker before the transfer deadline passes next week.

Wolves have already spent £19million but are prepared to take a financial risk with a promotion-chasing campaign looking more likely after a flying start to the season.

They recently missed out on the signing of Southampton striker Sam Gallagher, who instead joined Birmigham City on-loan.
