West Brom team news confirmed for Charlton clash - featuring home debut
James Morrison’s line-up has been confirmed.
Albion boss James Morrison has handed a full debut to new winger recruit Kareem Tunde in Wednesday’s clash against Charlton.
The 21-year-old Spaniard made a lively brief cameo for his Albion debut in Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at Middlesbrough.
And Tunde, who cost in the region of £2.5million from La Liga side Levante, has been named in Morrison’s starting XI to face the Addicks.
He has replaced Harry Whitwell from the side that lost on Teesside. Whitwell is on the bench.
New recruit Toby Collyer is also part of the substitute’s bench. Deadline day signing Brayann Pereira signed too late to feature.
The injured Mikey Johnston is still missing after his ankle setback.
Felix Horn Myhre retains his place in the starting XI in support of Jimmy-Jay Morgan, with Norwegian compatriot Aune Heggebo still on the bench.
Nathan Jones’ Addicks, featuring ex-Baggies attacker Karlan Grant, is part of the visiting line-up.
Albion (4-4-1-1): O’Leary; Galves, Phillips, Campbell (c), Styles; Tunde, Diakite, Molumby, Price; Horn Myhre; Morgan.
Subs: Ingram (gk), Mepham, Townsend, Collyer, Nzingoula, Whitwell, Bany, Stewart, Heggebo.
