Albion star in international boost

New Scotland boss George Burley has dropped the biggest hint so far that he is about to make James Morrison's wishes come true.
Burley confirmed today that Morrison had been the subject of Scotland's scouting missions south of the border and that his frustration at waiting for a first senior cap is likely end in next month's friendly with Croatia.
"I have spoken to Tony Mowbray about James and he is one of a group of younger players we have to be interested in," said Burley today.
Morrison played for England at all the age group levels up to Under 20 but qualifies for Scotland through his grandparents - and has opted for a Tartan route to the international stage.
He was all set to make his senior debut against South Africa last August only for a hamstring injury to deny him.
And a 'B' international against Ireland was then postponed.
But Morrison looks a certainty to get in Burley's first squad with Mowbray declaring: "James has not had a bad game for us this season.
"He is a young player who looks you right in the eye, and who possesses all the qualities on humility and modesty and who just wants to get better."
The midfielder was cleared by Fifa to switch countries after his England age group appearances.
A first senior cap for Morrison against Croatia is made more likely as the March 26 match comes three days before table-topping Rangers and Celtic meet in the Scottish Premier League.
And Burley has admitted he will be 'sympathetic' towards the demands of two Old Firm clubs before naming his first squad.
The Albion man's long term aim will be to pin down a place in Burley's plans when the qualifying schedule opens on September 6.
