Walsall not at best: boss
Boss Richard Money admitted Saddlers weren't at their best, but that the victory was all-important, as a number of their promotion rivals slipped up.
"Some weeks it's all about the result I think," he said.

"We said before the game that this might be a very interesting week, with a lot of people playing each other in the top half of the table.
"This game for me was just about making sure we got the three points and we just about did that.
"I don't think we played particularly well, but we gave a battling performance and showed a lot of character.
"Some weeks you have just got to make sure that you leave the pitch on the right side of the scoreline and this was one of those games."
The manager was understandably happy to have Tommy Mooney back in the team and pleased with the front two in general.
"Tommy was in the right place at the right time," Money said.
"It was a great ball from Troy Deeney for the goal and we showed some flashes of quality.
"We might have had one or two more goals, but it wasn't our most fluent performance, but we showed a great discipline and got the three points.
"Tommy is a talisman and it was very important for us to get him back.
"If we can get Michael Ricketts back for Tuesday which we are very hopeful of, and with Scott Dann back it makes it a stronger group to pick from.
"We've got two big games coming up in the next seven days, but make no mistake this was a big game, too, and we're very happy to have got the three points.
"I've known Tommy for a long time and he's never lost that enthusiasm and that hunger to play.
"We have missed him – every team misses their best players, but the kids have done a really good job in holding the fort and making sure that we've stayed on track while he's been away. Both Nicholls and Deeney will benefit from playing with him.
"It was always in my mind to hopefully be able to bring him off with half an hour to go bearing in mind we've got games on Tuesday and Saturday.
"But sometimes it doesn't work out that way and I certainly don't want anyone to feel that we were disrespectful by bringing him off, but it was a good time to do it."
Walsall moved up to fourth in the table with the win, but Money played down any premature talk of promotion possibilities.
"We've got 18 games to go and a lot can happen," he said.
"We've just got to keep ourselves focused and keep trying to move in the right direction.
"There's a bit of a gap between us and the teams in eighth, ninth and tenth, which is healthy, but we've got to keep going."
