Club confirm Saddlers are still on market
Walsall have confirmed owner Jeff Bonser is still looking to sell his majority stake in the club.
Saddlers shareholders were told at yesterday's club AGM that chairman Bonser is still willing to discuss a sale to any buyer willing to "ensure its long-term future."

The meeting lasted for 15 minutes and a written answer to a question from the Walsall Supporters Trust read: "The club remains up for sale, this position has not changed.
"The chairman is prepared to sit down and discuss this matter with anyone who can prove that they have unencumbered funds to pursue a transaction of this nature and has the best interests of the club at heart to ensure its long-term future."
The Saddlers made a profit of £10,000 in the last financial year.
Meanwhile, Nicky Featherstone today insisted Walsall are still favourites for their Lincoln Cup clash – but warned them not to get careless.
The Saddlers host the non league Imps in their FA Cup first round replay tonight with Featherstone eyeing the third round.
They escaped with a 1-1 draw at Sincil Bank 10 days ago after George Bowerman's late header saved their blushes.
"We're going into it favourites, we're at home and couple of leagues above them," said the midfielder. "We're going into the game expected to win and if we do the basics right and play our game we can win. We didn't play well at all at their place but we didn't get beaten. We're in the hat again and if we can beat Lincoln we've got a good chance of progressing.
"It's a good chance to get to round three and play a big team."
