There will be Cup fever at Keys Park, The Grove and Marston Road, with Hednesford Town, Halesowen Town and Stafford Rangers facing tricky ties.

On paper, Hednesford have the best chance of getting through to the third qualifying round for the third consecutive season.

They host a Coventry United side who play two divisions lower than them in Northern One Midlands.

Halesowen are also favourites against a side from the same division in Mickleover - though only one division separates the Yeltz and the Sports.

Trying to overcome the odds will be Northern One West outfit, who welcome National League North leaders Hereford.

More than 2,000 fans will be packed into Marston Road to see if Boro can reach a stage of the competition they haven’t since 2020 - when they played and beat Hereford 3-1.

Kyle Sambor and Scott Bakkor maintained Stafford’s good start to the season with the goals in a 2-1 victory over Kidsgrove Athletic in midweek.

Meanwhile, Rushall Olympic will be looking to upset higher-league opposition on the road at Harborough Town, who are mid-table in National League North.

The Pics haven’t been back to the third qualifying round since reaching the first round proper for the only time in their history two years ago.

Kidderminster Harriers will be looking to continue their excellent start to the National League season when they travel to Woking.

Callum Dolan scored Harriers’ winner at home to Gateshead on Wednesday, moving them up to fourth in the table - just three points behind leaders Boreham Wood after eight games.

Stourbridge are not in action, having lost to the Pics in the last round of the FA Cup.

They resume that rivalry a week tomorrow in the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy.

After a difficult start to the season, Chasetown gave themselves a shot in the arm with a 4-1 win at Shifnal Town on Wednesday.

Kyle Moseley (two), Kevin Monteiro and Matt Hearsey got the goals for the Scholars, who are at home to Stalybridge Celtic tomorrow.

Pointless Lichfield City will travel to winless Congleton Town in the battle of the bottom two after going down 5-1 at home to Newcastle Town on Wednesday - that was after Abdul Bashiru has opened the scoring for Lichfield.
