Harvington Hall, near Kidderminster, is a living piece of history dating back to the 14th century which sits on an artificial island surrounded by a picturesque moat. Once home to recusant Catholic Humphrey Pakington, the hall became a sanctuary during a time when being a priest in England was punishable by death. Today, it stands as a rare example of religious resistance, preserved through centuries of turmoil, abandonment and restoration.

After exploring secret passageways and centuries-old chambers, visitors can relax at the coffee shop with a coffee and a slice of cake - and stop by the gift shop for books, keepsakes and locally made goods.

The ticket, which is valid from Wednesday to Sunday from 10.30am to 4pm for self-guided and guided tours, includes entry to the hall, coffee shop and garden which are accessible to all visitors - with support for those with mobility issues.
