Wolves lockdown in promotion push
The scene of Wolves' potential promotion party tomorrow is being put on 'lockdown' by police in an attempt to minimise disorder.
Kenny Jackett's table-toppers travel to Crewe where – depending on the result of tonight's Rotherham United match – they could win promotion back to the Championship.
But police, who today warned Wolves fans without a ticket not to travel to the game, will shut down Crewe town centre to deter troublemakers. They have planned an 'extensive and robust' operation to curtail any potential violence. The town's police force will close pubs in the town centre from 3pm until the game ends.
