Barrier plan at Wolverhampton station to control Molineux crowds

Security barriers will be introduced at Wolverhampton's train station on Wolves match days after bosses admitted the number of fans attending Molineux last season via train caught them by surprise.
The temporary structures, which will help control match-going crowds, will be trialled for first time at Wolves' first home game of the season in August.
They will then be used on the day of home games during the season with station officials working with the British Transport Police (BTP).
Under the plans the sectioning will mean there will be one side for heading into the station and another for those heading out.
Dave Whitehouse, who is the station manager, said it will help alleviate any possibility of disorder on the platforms.
He said: "You see a difference on a match day with the number of fans in and around the station but particularly with the Leyton Orient game, Rotherham United game and the final day of the season against Carlisle United, which drew 30,000 people, it was a step up above that and our staff really did a great job dealing with the numbers.
"We were expecting less people to attend Molineux when they were playing in League One but what wasn't anticipated was the number of away fans who came to Molineux because for some of the smaller clubs it was their game of the season.
"After the success Wolves had last season, there is a feel good factor around the city and we believe more fans will going to games next season and we are prepared."
Part of the crowd management will involved more station staff being deployed to the platforms before and after the game.
Mr Whitehouse added: "For example the 5.25pm train going to Shrewsbury is particularly busy train after the game so what we want to do is manage the station safely and alleviate any potential for disorder.
"The concourses can get quite crowded with people queuing outside the station. We want to reduce that.
"We want people to come along to the game with their mates, have a good time, get the three points and go home safely."
