The officer – who has only been referred to as Officer A – will face a three-day hearing at West Mercia Police’s force headquarters in Hindlip, Worcestershire, from September 2 to 4.
The hearing, says West Mercia Police, will be held in private and will be chaired by Assistant Chief Officer, Rachel Hartland-Lane.
According to the force, integrity, confidentiality, and discreditable conduct have been breached by the officer, which amount to gross misconduct.
