Stafford to Crewe train services disrupted due to 'incident'

Train services are disrupted between Stafford and Crewe this afternoon due to an ‘incident’ in the area.
Passengers have been informed that services are expected to be disrupted until 2.45pm today (November 3).
National Rail said: “Emergency services are dealing with an incident between Crewe and Stafford meaning all lines are closed.
“As a result, trains between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or diverted.
“Disruption is expected until 14:45.”
Avanti West Coast confirmed that its services may be “delayed, diverted or cancelled”.
Emergency services have been approached for comment.
