Pair survive crash landing

A couple survived when a microlight with engine trouble made a crash landing and "did a cartwheel" at a Staffordshire airfield.
The accident happened at Otherton Airfield yesterday at 5.15pm.
The two people on board, believed to be a married couple, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Stafford District General Hospital.
A 41-year-old woman from the Penkridge area was taken by air ambulance with suspected back injuries while a male, thought to be in his 40s, was taken by land ambulance with possible leg injuries.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Dave Turner, from Staffordshire Air Ambulance, explained: "It wasn't as bad as we initially thought."
