'Nuisance' off-road bikers filmed riding illegally on footpaths and roads in Wolverhampton

Bilston police are appealing for help to find the nuisance riders

Officers are investigating after “nuisance” off-road bikers were filmed riding illegally on footpaths and roads in the Bilston area.

The machine was spotted in the Weddell Wynd area off Bradley Lane in Bradley. The riders faces were covered and the red, yellow and white coloured bike had no registration plate fitted when they were captured on film on May 5 at about 5.20pm.

West Midlands Police stated: “We know their faces are hidden, but our neighbourhood officers are working hard to gather information to help trace those involved and want to hear from anyone with information about the bike and who may be riding it.

“During this incident at about 5.20pm on May 5, a motorcycle was ridden along footpaths and roads off Bradley Lane, Bilston, with no registration plate showing.

“Local teams are focussed on tackling anti-social behaviour as we're aware bike riders are causing a nuisance for residents and businesses, as well as being a potential danger to themselves and others.”

Witnesses or anyone who recognises the pair should phone the force on 101 or message the website via Live Chat quoting reference 20/188028/26.
