Tomorrow (Saturday) music fans will descend on The Halls to celebrate the promotion which started in 1997.

The night has enjoyed a comeback since The Halls reopened but due to costs rising promoters have decided to call it a day.

Cheeky Monkey started as a monthly club night in the Wulfrun in 1997 but after selling every event out moved to fortnightly then weekly in The Wulfrun Hall.

In 1998 it moved to The Civic Hall and had to open The Wulfrun Hall as well to cope with demand with over 3,000 attending every week.
