Police in Wolverhampton impound car after driver escapes on foot
Wolverhampton Police are searching for a driver who gave officers the slip after a car chase.
St Peter's, Park and Graiseley Police team posted pictures of the seized car on social media.
The team said: "The driver of this vehicle left it abandoned after attempting to evade us. We found it and seized it!
"Enquiries are ongoing to identify who they are."
Earlier this week the Staffordshire Police Road Crime Team did manage to arrest a driver who tried to outrun officers on the road.
The team posted: "This car failed to stop for officers in the Cannock area and was pursued.
"Driver arrested for failing to stop, dangerous driving, positive drug wipe, no insurance, no driving licence and possession of a bladed article."
