Man charged after stolen car recovered in Darlaston

West Midlands Police have charged a man following a pursuit with a stolen car in Walsall.

Marcus Cheshire, aged 46, from Willenhall, has been charged with stolen goods, dangerous driving and using a vehicle without insurance after police recovered a stolen car following a pursuit with West Midlands Police in Darlaston.

The vehicle came to a stop near the junction of Willenhall Street and Hall Street East, Darlaston, on the afternoon of December 28.

He was remanded into custody to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today.

A force spokesperson said: "We've charged a man after recovering a stolen car following a pursuit in the Black Country.

"The vehicle came to a stop near the junction of Willenhall Street and Hall Street East, Darlaston, yesterday afternoon.

"Marcus Cheshire, aged 46, from Willenhall, has been charged with handling stolen goods, dangerous driving and using a vehicle without insurance.

"He was remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today."
