Three men and teenager standing trial for murder of popular West Bromwich father of two Matthew Adams
The trial of three men and a child accused of murdering popular father of two Matthew Adams after a row at a West Bromwich pub two years ago.
Mr Adams, 33, died four days after being attacked on March 19, 2023, at the Gough Arms, Hill Top, West Bromwich.
Known to friends as 'Wacka', the father of two returned battered and bloodied to his home after being attacked in the early hours after the fight which started after an argument in the pub.
Mr Adams felt increasingly ill over the next few days and an ambulance was called four days later on Thursday, March 23. However, his untreated injuries had got worse and he died in hospital.
