Wordsley’s skyline is dominated by the Red House Glass Cone - one of the last four brick structures remaining in the UK. Its history with glass making is linked with one of its well known firms Stuart Crystal, and it has been preserved as a museum to this day. Opposite is a new Museum of Glass created to honour the industry. The once landmark Wordsley Hospital site has been redeveloped into a new housing estate.
