City Centre buses are unable to access Colmore Row due to a fire near the Bull Street stop, while there are also currently no tram services between St Chads and Edgbaston Village.

Trams are still operating between St Chads and Wolverhampton Station.

There is a police cordon in place, and Colmore Row between Livery Street and Colmore Circus Queensway are closed.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We’re responding to a building fire on Colmore Queensway in Birmingham after receiving multiple 999 calls at 4.56pm today.  There are currently no reported patients."

West Midlands Police and Fire Service have also been approached for comment.
