The Halls Wolverhampton have paid tribute to Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne with a peak at his signature in their guestbook.
It was announced yesterday (July 22) that Osbourne had passed away, aged 76, just weeks after his farewell show in Birmingham.
The loss has been felt far and wide - but particularly in the West Midlands - as Ozzy grew up in Marston Green.
He took to the stage locally many times during his lengthy career - including gracing The Halls Wolverhampton with his iconic performances.
Now, the venue's team have paid tribute to him - stating that they are 'deeply saddened' but know his music legacy will carry on.
In the post, which has gained more than 180 likes on Facebook, they shared a photo of his signature in their guestbook as a spokesperson wrote: "The entire team at The Halls are incredibly saddened to hear of the passing of Ozzy Osbourne: a West Midlands hero who became a global icon, and one who graced our stage many times throughout his career.
"His legacy of genre-defining music and live performances will forever live on. Rest in peace, Ozzy."
The Halls team were one group of the many hundreds of fans paying tribute to the rock legend across the West Midlands today. Many have taken to Birmingham to lay flowers and messages on Black Sabbath bench.
