Homes across the Black Country to go to auction from as little as £9k
It is expected to be a busy auction as dozens of homes across the Black Country are up for grabs.
Dozens of homes across the Black Country, of all shapes and sizes, are set to catch the eye of potential bidders when they go under the hammer at auction.
Flats priced from less than £10,000 and three-bedroomed houses priced at £150,000 or less will be the focus of buy-to-let investors and those hunting for a new home or property project.
Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive at Bond Wolfe, said: “We see literally thousands of people logging on to watch proceedings – and bid – in our livestreamed auctions.
“Black Country properties offer excellent value for buyers of all kinds, which is why we see intense interest from across the UK and even overseas. Our July auction will be another busy day.”
Topping the list of coming attractions is a five-bedroomed terraced house at 35 Bescot Road, in Walsall. It is listed with a guide price of £175,000 in the livestreamed auction on Thursday 9 July.

Currently vacant, this three-storey property stands back from the road behind a driveway, with gardens to the rear.
The ground floor vestibule leads to a hall, two reception rooms, the kitchen, and understairs store, an inner hall with a utility room and a shower room with WC.
On the first floor are three bedrooms and a bathroom with WC and a separate shower cubicle. There are two further bedrooms on the second floor.
Underling the range of properties on offer, just a mile and a half north, across the town, a two-bedroomed end-terraced house at 110 Dalkeith Street has a guide price of just £19,000.

With gardens front and back, the house has a reception room and kitchen diner downstairs, with the two bedrooms and a bathroom with WC upstairs.
75 Follyhouse Lane is another Walsall property, a three-bedroomed end-terrace house listed at £69,000.
In need of some renovation work, it offers two ground floor reception rooms, with an inner hall, kitchen, shower room with WC, a second separate WC and a verandah.
Upstairs are the three bedrooms. There are gardens front and rear.

In Wolverhampton, 85 Rothesay Gardens is a single bedroomed flat with a guide price for the leasehold of just £9,000.
It is on the second floor of a modern purpose-built block, accessed by a communal entrance.

Flat 85 comprises a hall, bathroom with WC, airing cupboard, reception/dining room and a kitchen. There is parking outside.
Across the city, 46 Coalway Road is a vacant freehold three-bedroomed semi-detached property with the potential to extend.

With a guide price of £150,000, it stands behind a front garden with off-road parking, with a large rear garden and patio area. Inside the hallway leads to a living room and kitchen, while upstairs are the three bedrooms and a bathroom with WC.
The size of the rear garden offers the scope to extend the property, subject to planning permission.
Mr Bassi said: “We believe the property may be of non-standard construction and all parties must make their own enquiries.
“However, those interested in buy-to-let properties will note that this property has been generating a rental income of around £1,150 per calendar month.”
In nearby Coseley, a three-bedroomed detached bungalow at 41 Siddons Road is listed at just £25,000.
The guide price reflects the property’s need for modernisation, but it stands on a substantial plot and may be suitable for development – subject to planning permission.
Currently the bungalow stands behind a front garden and driveway. With a porch and hall, there is a reception room, kitchen, the three bedrooms – one previously used as a second reception room – and a shower room with WC. There is also a garage and more gardens to the rear.
In Wednesbury, a three-bedroomed semi-detached house at 38 King Edward Street is listed at just £49,000.
With gardens front and rear, it has two reception rooms, the kitchen and the bathroom with WC on the ground floor, with the bedrooms upstairs. The house has central heating and double glazing but is in need of modernisation.

A £135,000 guide price has been set for a three-bedroomed semi-detached house at 28 Eve Lane in Dudley.
This is another property in need of modernisation, but it offers a hall, two reception rooms and a kitchen downstairs with bedrooms upstairs along with a shower room and WC.
Outside are driveways, gardens and a rear carport.
13 Foxyards Road, in Tipton, is another property in need of modernisation. A three-bedroomed semi-detached house, with a guide price of £99,000, it has gardens front and rear, driveway parking and a side garage.
In Stourbridge, 8 Bank Street is a two-bedroomed detached bungalow listed at £65,000. With a hardstanding, driveway and garage to the front and gardens to the rear, it has a hall, reception room, kitchen, conservatory, two bedrooms, bathroom and a separate WC.
The Black Country properties will be among 173 lots featuring in Bond Wolfe’s next auction, which starts at 8.30am on Thursday 9 July.
The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
